Extended Day (Pathfinders)
Pisgah’s extended care program assists families needing before- or after-school for their children in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Offered daily Monday through Friday, Pathfinders lasts until 6:15 p.m. and before school care begins at 7 a.m.
Like the name suggests, Pathfinders seeks to capitalize on these critical hours by offering homework supervision, fee-based private tutoring, physical fitness, snacks, and God’s time in a safe, nurturing environment. Additional on campus fee-based enrichment activities include Chess, Yahtzee, Readers Theater and a variety of sports opportunities through the Pisgah Kids Sports Department.
Afterschool Pathfinders serves students from the following public schools: Barnwell, Dolvin, Hillside, Northwood and River Eves. Students are picked up and transported to the Pathfinder Program in MPUMC buses.
Early Bird Study Hall
Pisgah students may register to attend Early Bird Study Hall from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. During this time, students are given the opportunity to review for tests, complete homework or read before being dismissed at 8:00 a.m. to go directly to their classes.
